Updated: 09 March 2022

Zenit intends to keep midfielder Alexey Sutormin in its squad.

The player received an offer to extend the contract with the St. Petersburg club. This is reported by RB Sport. The details of the proposed agreement are still unknown.

According to the current contract, Sutormin will play for Zenit until the summer, after which he can become a free agent.

Earlier it was reported about the interest in the 28-year-old footballer from Dynamo Moscow, CSKA and Rubin.

This season Sutormin played 16 matches in the Russian Premier League and scored three goals (all penalties). He lost his place in the starting lineup at the end of 2021 though.
